Drums And Percussion with  Pat DiIanni

Pat has been playing professionally in the Pittsburgh and Tri-State area for over 35 years and teaching for over 25 years.
He has studied classical percussion with Stanley Leonard (former principal timpanist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra)
and Thomas Mitchell (former percussionist with the U.S. Army Band). He has studied drumset with John Fisher, Bill Baker and
Tom Laflame. He has also attended and participated in Master classes with world famous jazz drummers Joe Morello and Alan
Dawson and funk master David Garibaldi.

Pat is comfortable playing and teaching all styles of music, including rudimental and orchestral snare drum, Rock, Jazz and Latin
drumset styles and keyboard percussion. ln addition to his Washington area teaching studio at JK Musician's Workshop, he is the
owner of Drummer's Workshop in lmperial, PA. His 70 students vary in age from 6 to 60 and in ability levels from beginner through
advanced. Many of his school-age students perform in their high school and middle school drumlines, concert and jazz bands,
percussion ensembles, church worship teams and professional and amateur bands in the local area. Numerous former students
have been accepted into college and university music programs and have joined the ranks of professional performers and educators.
